Corazón’s Adult Education classes increase educational attainment for adults in Northern Sonoma County by offering several types of classes focused on skill building and workforce advancement. Classes include: English as a Second Language (ESL), Computer Skills, High School Equivalency in Spanish (GED), Financial Literacy, Citizenship and Early Childcare Workforce. Classes are offered both at night for working adults and during the day for parents while children are at school. We offer free childcare for participating parents for children ages 0-4. Our High School Equivalency preparation class allows adults to study for their high school diploma in Spanish. Classes are taught by qualified Santa Rosa Junior College professors on-site at the Healdsburg Community Center. In 2019, over 250 adults participate in Adult Education classes.
