Corazón’s Kinder2College program celebrates first graduates

We are very proud of the first 27 graduates of our Kinder2College program. And we had a beautiful celebration on Saturday, June 4, at the Fitch Mountain Campus, in Healdsburg! There was a ceremony when the students received their completion certificate from Corazón’s co-founder and board member, Ariel Kelley, Vice Mayor of Healdsburg. After that, we had a delicious barbecue for the graduates and their families kindly prepared by our volunteers. The children could also play and have fun on this important day for our community.

The Kinder2College Fund is a college savings initiative launched by members of the Healdsburg Community in partnership with Corazón Healdsburg. This innovative investment in the children of Northern Sonoma County provides students in kindergarten through third grade with a College Savings Account for up to $500.
