Carnival y Feria de Salud

The annual Carnaval y Féria de Salud was held at the Healdsburg Community center on April 7. It is an all ages, family-friendly event that embraces the Putla Villa de Guerrero Oaxacan culture and celebrates Cesar Chavez and the farmworkers rights movement. This year’s activities included arts and crafts,traditional Oaxacan food and dancers, a Zumba demonstration, Lotería (Mexican Bingo), live music by the Tornado Show band, and a special guest appearance from Basurita the Clown.
