2026 Event of the Heart Featured Speaker

JONATHAN MEZA

Jonathan is a 2026 graduate of Healdsburg High School and Corazón’s FirstGen College Counseling program. Throughout high school, he balanced demanding academics with football, wrestling, and deep community involvement through FirstGen, Upward Bound, DALE, 10,000 Degrees, and MAYO Club. Football, in particular, strengthened his resilience, discipline, and leadership. Experiences like Cal Poly’s Engineering Possibilities in College program, Bucknell University’s Engineering Camp, and a hands-on automotive class confirmed his passion for engineering and cars. This fall, he will attend Sacramento State University to study mechanical engineering.
