Celebrating community at Noche de Paz

Yesterday we were thrilled to be able to celebrate the holidays, enjoy delicious pozole and churros, and share gifts at our Noche de Paz event. What a special evening it was, filled with good cheer, happy children, and the spirit of community!

This is the fourth year in a row we’ve teamed up with our local car clubs and businesses to collect toys to share with kids in the community. A huge thanks to former board member Jorge Flores for spearheading this effort each year! We received hundreds of donated toys and each child was able to pick out the perfect gift for themselves and leave with a giant smile on their face.

Noche de Paz was a true collective effort with everyone in the community pitching in to create some holiday magic for the kids in our community. Thank you to our presenting sponsors, Avila Electric and Opperman & Son, Inc., for their incredible support of this event. We also want to thank our community sponsors for their contributions to Noche de Paz, including Gio y Los Magos, Producciones Águila Solís, La Que Ruge Libre, Stephen Barber at Guaranteed Rate, AVFilm, Mario's Joyeria, A.M. Junk & Brush Removal, Garrett Ace Hardware, Andrea Hernandez Moore, Realtor, Healdsburg Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram and Tacos Don Tacos.

And thank you to all the businesses, car clubs and community members who contributed food and donated gifts to make this event so magical. Thanks to Rose's Burgers & Brats, Casa del Mole, SingleThread, Antojitos GALIX, Little Saint Healdsburg, Lola's Market, Taco Grande, Costeaux French Bakery and Monte Alban Market for providing pozole, hot chocolate, churros, popcorn and more. Thanks to Avila Electric, Costeaux French Bakery, Bacchus Landing, SingleThread Farm, Little Saint Healdsburg and the Healdsburg Community Center, local car clubs, Bon Ton Baby and Windsor Healdsburg Mortuary & Crematory for collecting and contributing toys to share. Windsor Healdsburg Mortuary & Crematory and Avila Electric generously gave several bikes to some very happy kids.

Thank you as well to our amazing volunteers and promotoras for helping us at this event.

And lastly we want to thank our friends at Farm to Pantry for providing FEED boxes full of beautiful local produce, eggs and meat for attendees.

It was a heartwarming event and we were so happy to share it with so many of you!
